You’ve probably heard the term “whole person.” You might even have heard that you need to be your whole self, and that if you are not, you are not being yourself. But what does this mean, and why is it important?

First of all, you need to know that you are not your body, or your mind, or any other part of you. You are not your thoughts, feelings, actions, reactions, beliefs, or anything else about you. You are not your past, present, or future. You are not your personality, your character, or your behavior. You are not your opinions, or your likes or dislikes. You are not your job, your income, your possessions, your relationships, or anything else about you at all.

If you were to try to take each of these things away from you, you would still be you. Your body, mind, thoughts, feelings, actions, etc., would still be there, and you would still be able to think, feel, act, and react. Your personality, character, and behavior would still be there, and your opinions, likes, dislikes, etc., would still be with you. Even if you lost everything in your life, you would still be there, because you are not any of those things. You are not any of those things, and you are not any of those other things either.

So, what is this thing called “wholeness?” It is when you recognize that you are more than just your body, or your mind. You are more than just your thoughts, feelings, actions and reactions. You are more than just who you are, and you are more than just your personality, character, or behavior. You are more than just what you do, or what you have. You are more than just where you live, or how much money you make, or what kind of car you drive, or who your friends are. You are more than any of these things.

When you realize that you are more than any of these, then you can begin to live your life as a whole person. You will be living from your heart, not your head. You will be living from who you really are, not who you pretend to be. You will be living from the inside out, not the outside in. You will be living from love, not fear, and you will be living from the real you, not the false you.

Living from the real you is living your life in the way that is most loving, most peaceful, and most fulfilling for you. When you live your life this way, you will be happier, healthier, and more contented than you ever thought possible. You will have more energy, more enthusiasm, more creativity, and more joy than you ever imagined possible. You will be more alive than you ever thought possible.

And all of this will happen because you are no longer trying to be someone else, but instead, you are simply being who you are. You are simply being who you really are, and living from that place of love and acceptance. You are no longer trying to please anyone else, but instead, you just accept yourself for who you are.

Now, this is not something that happens overnight. It takes time, and practice, and patience. But once you get into this habit of being yourself, and living from the real you, then you will be living your life in a way that is so much more fulfilling and satisfying than you ever dreamed possible.
