Unlocking the Power of ENNPRO: A Nine-Step Process for Problem-Solving and Personal Growth

by para | Aug 15, 2024 | Enneagram | 0 comments

In the heart of Gaia Core’s innovative strategies lies a powerful tool designed to foster personal growth and effective problem-solving: the Enneagram Process, or Ennpro. Recently, Christopher Macor from Gaia Core shared a detailed walkthrough of this nine-step framework, emphasizing its potential to transform both individual and collective approaches to challenges. Here’s a breakdown of the Enpro and its pivotal role in enhancing our daily lives.

1. Feelings (Point 0.9)

The journey begins with an inward look at our emotions. Identifying and exploring our feelings on three levels helps us understand the deeper layers of our emotional state. This initial step sets the foundation for genuine self-awareness and emotional clarity.

2. Intentions (Point 1)

Next, we articulate our intentions. It’s crucial to recognize both the immediate goals and the underlying motives driving our actions. This dual awareness ensures that our efforts are aligned with our broader objectives and values.

3. Standards (Point 4)

Long-term intentions, or standards, come into play at this stage. These enduring goals guide our actions consistently over time. For instance, standards such as “gentle impeccability” or “listen to learn” can profoundly influence our daily interactions and decisions.

4. Resources (Point 3)

Here, we identify the methods and resources at our disposal. By acknowledging tools like the “soul kernel” or the “absolute soul kernel,” we prepare ourselves to tackle tasks with a well-equipped mindset, balancing action and introspection.

5. Issues (Point 2)

With our resources and intentions clear, we define the specific issue at hand. This focused identification allows us to address problems with a comprehensive understanding of the context and the tools available.

6. Solution (Point 8)

Finding a solution becomes more straightforward when approached systematically. By this stage, we’ve gathered enough insight to pinpoint an effective resolution to the issue.

7. Work to be Done (Point 5)

Outlining the tasks necessary to implement the solution is the next step. This practical plan of action ensures that our solutions are not just theoretical but are ready to be executed effectively.

8. Gather Information (Point 6)

Collecting relevant data and expressing gratitude is vital. Recognizing and appreciating the resources and support we have can significantly enhance our problem-solving process. Gratitude helps maintain a positive and open mindset.

9. Lessons Learned (Point 7)

Finally, we reflect on the lessons learned throughout the process. This reflection not only solidifies our understanding but also prepares us for future challenges, enabling continuous growth and improvement.

The Power of Ennpro in Daily Life

Christopher Macor underscores the transformative potential of the Enneagram Process. By breaking down complex issues into manageable parts, Ennpro serves as both a daily check-in tool and a robust problem-solving vehicle. Whether used individually or within a community, this nine-step process fosters deeper self-awareness, collaborative problem-solving, and sustained personal growth.

Incorporating Enpro into our routines can lead to a more mindful, intentional, and effective approach to the myriad challenges we face. By embracing this framework, we unlock the potential to navigate life’s complexities with clarity and purpose, creating a more harmonious and fulfilling existence.

Fieldwork

Collaboration is a great idea! Most of us can get behind the notion of win/win. It’s surprising, though, how so many of us default to the “my idea is better” mentality when faced with a situation requiring collaboration. It takes practice to actively choose collaboration as the top priority.

Tolerance

What I call Tolerance is a series of skills derived from Non-Violent Communication. These skills include I statements, mirroring and validation, identifying bilateral needs and making requests.

Inner Selves

Along the same lines of neutralizing projection, when we identify disowned parts of ourselves and enter into conversation with them, we own that part and reclaim our wholeness.

Tonglin

Tonglin is a Tibetan Buddhist meditation where we breathe in negativity and neutralize it on our outbreath. Whenever I’m triggered by something in my world I find I can own it’s origin in myself through Tonglin.

Sweeping

Sweeping refers to sweeping the mind through the body. In this case we’re tracking with sensation and respiration in a systematic way. This activity elicits a strong sense of masculine energy.

Pulse

The best way that I’ve found to tune into my inner feminine is by meditating on my pulse. It’s something to which I have to consciously surrender.
