What does it mean to be whole?
What is wholeness, exactly?
The dictionary defines “whole” as being complete, perfect, and unbroken.
Wholeness is not something that is achieved by taking parts of something and putting them together. It is not about assembling a collection of parts to create something new or different.
Wholeness does not refer to a specific time in history, religion, philosophy, or political system. It is not something that can be purchased from the local store.
Wholeness refers to the state of being complete. It is the state of having all of one’s needs met and all of one’s desires fulfilled. It is the state of being satisfied with who you are and what you have.
It is the state of being completely at peace with yourself and your world.
It is the sense of being complete and whole.
What is the importance of wholeness?
Wholeness is very important because it is the only way to live life fully and freely. If you are not complete and whole, you will always be looking for something else. You will always be searching for more. You will always be looking outside of yourself for what you think you are lacking.
You will never be able to relax and enjoy life. You will always be looking for the next thing to make you feel better or give you more pleasure.
If you are not complete and whole you will always be dissatisfied with yourself and your life. You will always be trying to improve yourself, trying to get better, trying to get more.
You will never know true joy, peace, and contentment.
